Preparing for your K9 inspection
A little preparation helps our team deliver the most accurate possible sweep. Please review the steps below before your scheduled inspection.
K-9 Inspection Preparations
No pesticide applications should be done thirty (30) days prior to the inspection. This includes over the‐counter or professional products
Make sure you have secured parking directly in front of your structure upon K9 arrival.
Prior to the team's entry into the dwelling, please advise us of any current or suspected flea infestations.
Remove any pest control products such as mouse/rodent bait (Decon), glue boards, mouse snap traps, etc.
Refrain from using household cleaners or disinfectants (bleach, ammonia, rubbing alcohol) for at least (3) three hours prior to inspection.
Thoroughly vacuum entire residence, including all floors and furniture prior to the team's arrival.
Secure any items that may harm or distract our canines during inspection (e.g., Spilled food/drink, sharp objects, or medications)
Remove all pets for the duration of the inspection. Relocate pet food, water bowls, bedding, litter boxes and toys to an area that is inaccessible by our canines.
Remove any potpourri, deodorizers, or air fresheners (to include wall plug ins) at least two hours prior to the inspection.
Extinguish all cigarettes, other smoking materials, candles, and incense burners three (3) hours prior to inspection.
Do not cook (1) hour prior to the canine inspection and detection process.
Close all windows and outside doors, turn off air purifiers, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers.
Turn off oscillating fans, box fans, exhaust fans and ceiling fans prior to the team's arrival.
Air conditioners or furnaces may be left on.
Remove any/ all narcotics from the premises. Our canines are cross trained to find narcotics and will false alert if they find them.
Biocide Treatment Preparations
Ensure all persons and animals are out of the home during the treatment.
Remove all sheets and covers from bed (except mattress protector)
Return three hours after the start of treatment and do not enter home during treatment.
Technician can only begin the service once you are out of the home.
Once you return make sure to wash all bed sheets and blankets that have been removed for treatment.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for full results. Call after that time if you’re still seeing activity.
